Our Fosters:
Buddy
This is Buddy. He lives to play fetch and give kisses and look at you adoringly while you pet his head and belly. My partner noticed him roaming around the grounds of the plant where he works and brough hi home in January of 2023 and we’ve been fostering him since. Before that we’re not sure how long he was on the streets but I had never seen a dog with as many fleas and ticks as him. Because he’s gentle with people and knows how to fetch we think he was dumped. He’s had his shots, treated for heartworms, and has been neutered.
We would keep Buddy ourselves but our male dog Magoo sees him as a threat and we are not able to let them be around each other. Buddy is great with other animals, has played with every dog we’ve introduced him to (other than Magoo), gets along with chickens and cats and has become best friends with Snow White (pictured below).
Snow White & Dopey
Snow white just came into our lives at the beginning of August and shortly after we realized she was pregnant! I found her outside of a strip mall and after about 30 minutes of the cat following me around and trying to go into stores with me, I was convinced she was someone’s baby that got lost. She wasn’t looking so great and was SOOO dehydrated. She was basically hairless on her belly and legs but she’s gained some weight and has grown back most of her hair. She had three beautiful kittens, two of which have already found homes. Dopey is the only one left and he is looking for somewhere PURRFECT.
Snow White enjoys walks outside with Buddy and absolutely adores cuddles. She does not get along well with other cats, other than Dopey but seems to really like dogs.
